The Language Formula is designed to take you from a beginner level to everyday fluency in another language in just 16 weeks. Whilst you may have some pre-existing knowledge such as vocabulary or grammar rules, I would recommend commencing the program from the beginning. What you may find however, is you may accelerate quickly through the earlier modules- and this is ok, if you have achieved the tangible outcomes described with each module. If you are at an A1 or A2 level or below, you will get much value out of The Language Formula.

This program utilizes existing language learning resources- e.g. select apps, novels and audiobooks. These are not supplied but there are ways to access these resources inexpensively, if not for free (explored in detail in the course). Why are these not included I hear you asking? It’s important that you learn with material that is of interest to you! This not only ensures you stay motivated, but also ensures the program is fun. To customize such a program, it would be more efficient to simply utilize resources that currently exist. What’s more, once you understand how and when to utilize these resources, you have essentially learned the formula to learn any alphabet language fast and can utilize this formula repeatedly to learn more languages.

Sure, you could. You could but it will take you a very long time. A lot of time, effort, and money – indeed it took me seven years and two master’s degrees to figure all of this out.
